The 3Nm torque wrench with bits for Tesla Model Y & 3 roof racks will be a useful tool for tightening the nuts on your roof rack.
It includes bits that fit Tesla's original roof rack, as well as some aftermarket roof racks on the market.

To make the torque wrench fit BeGood's own roof rack, you need two things:
1. Art. 12-049 from Biltema (13mm Socket 1/4") -
This is something many people have at home. You can also use a 1/2" socket with the set below.
2. Art. 10-152 from Biltema (Socket adapter 1/4" x 1/4")
We are working on including these two parts in this product as well. The text will be updated as soon as this is done.

It is important not to overtighten the roof rack on the Tesla Model Y or 3, as this can crack the panoramic glass roof.
With this smart tool, you avoid that. Be careful and turn gently. If you feel resistance, you can stop screwing and finish.
This tool yields if you try to tighten more than 3 Nm, but 2.5 Nm is enough to hold the rack securely.
This way, you have good control to ensure correct tightening of the nuts.
Tesla recommends tightening to 2.5-3.5 Nm.

It is important that all instructions for mounting the roof rack are followed precisely to ensure that the roof rack is mounted safely and correctly.
It is the driver's responsibility to check that the roof racks are always securely fastened before every trip, and to retighten the nuts if necessary.
